Take the long road

Finding a beach that was off the beaten track & the jewel of the island was the brief and we fulfilled it. The fact that it took a tortuous drive along roads thinner than most of the devilish ones in Cornwall was only the start. The hike down to the beach followed, with me on Flora in her pushchair duty across a rocky and highly uneven terrain. Then we arrive and..... wait for it..... everyone else found it too!!!!

Still it was divine and for those interested it was called Calla Turqeta. Just so scummy. A picture of the cove is on my blog. Far funnier is this one of Mum & Dad with CC as we teach the top of the hill on our way back. The word hot was never more appropriate.

Much cold water followed @ The Cafe.
