On to Victoria and Vancouver Island

Up early to pick up a car and off to the ferry (the first of four ferry trips) to Vancouver Island.

The view from the ferry was wonderful as we wove between small islands - there are over 3700 up the coast of British Columbia.

Then on to Victoria to our hotel with this lovely Japanese garden overlooking Laurel Point.  Impressive seaplanes - but rather frequent and noisy!
