Catching the Sun: All alone

All alone, this poppy caught the sun so beautifully I had to leap up the wall and shoot it, in a non-violent way of course.

We've just spent five days in the Lot Valley whilst more work on our house was underway. It's good to be home and getting out walking again, a little more relaxed about the dawn now although I'm planning to keep on going until the Winter Solstice at least 3 times a week.
