The Kultakutri

The statue Kultakutri (Golden locks) by MATTI HAUPT (1912-1999) is standing there on island called Konsulisaari in the middle of Tammerkoski rapids.

There must be some kind of a God, as we finally had one warm summer day, +23c. Lovely!!!

I did wash few carpets and enjoyed the warm weather outdoors all day. And in the evening I was invited to the city with my son and two of his friends. Nice young people as they chatted with me some time at the pub. Walked in the city center and found this nice view, after yougsters had left for summer night fishing...
 
As I got back home, I made a Skype call to my daughter. Only +15c in Helsinki, dull day, She was not delighted for the weather. Nice to have these young people around!
