Wet barley

I took the dogs for an early walk today, and this time George came too. Millie was running around with Archie when she began limping, she often does this, I think she has a problem shoulder, so I had a slow walk back with them.
George had had enough by then and Millie had stopped limping so we made it home in one piece.
We saw this barley on the way home, the crops have ripened so early that there hasn't been time to harvest them all before the monsoon set in! But today seems a bit better and I think we've seen the worst of it now. Hopefully.
