Hooses o Cullivoe

A fine day, but cloudy.  Rain has come in the evening.

My weekend off work, and slept well this morning.  I finally got going after breakfast and headed into town for errands.  After walkies with Sammy, I packed up and headed north to Unst for the night.  My sister Julie turned 40 yesterday, and tonight there's a party organised in the Haroldswick hall.  It should be a good night.  Shame the local pub closed it's doors for good yesterday! 

We had a wait in between ferries on our way up to Unst, so went for a peerie run in Yell.  There was a regatta in at Burravoe, and then also a party on the pier at Cullivoe.  With all this on, the ferries were busy.  This a view of some of the houses in Cullivoe.
