Göta Kanal Revisited

My friend Dolly is currently camping with her mum in the New Forest, having great adventures. When she asked what we were doing today and the answer was Nothing, I asked mum if we could go for an outing as well. Pleeeease??

And she said Yes! We went to the lock systems at Berg in the bigger of our two nearby canals. Such a difference from our last visit, when we were alone! The place was packed with boats, camper vans, buses and tourists. Along with many others, we watched four sailboats climb the seven lock Carl Johan stairs.

And guess what? What there should always be at the locks? Ice cream!! O happy day (o happy daaaay)!
