It's a bugs life....

Overnight rain is a blessing! And thankfully the skies have now cleared for  a sunny saturday! Perfect day for thinning the apples - while i'm being watched by the wildlife! - on the 2 apple trees in the garden! They have dropped quite a few already for their 'june drop' but there are so many apples this year I still need to help a few on their way!   Time to start hunting out new apple recipes for this year too!! Looking forward to my first dorset apple cake of the year soon!
