It's Snowing

A friend txt first thing this morning to see if I would like to spend the morning at the Snow Farm.  'Yes", I said.  It was snowing, windy and cold.  All I did was walk around Mary's trail 3 times!  Will be great when we get some nice sunny days up there.  I was pleased to come home and get the fire going.  I have added a couple of extras.

Blip No. 1950

Year 1950.

Navel and ground forces sent to Korea.
There was a wool boom
Empire games were held in Auckland, NZ.  We won 10 gold, 22 silver and 21 bronze = 53 in total.  NZ were 3rd on the medal table.  The most best gold medal was that of Yvette Williams in the long jump.
