Black and Yellow Longhorn Beetle

This is only the second time I've ever seen one of these. The first time was in 2014. It was at Trentham Gardens again but in amongst the Meadowsweet on the East side of the lake, near the entrance this time. A great shot to end the 30 days wild with!

The marquees are being erected on the estate ready for Staffordshire University's Graduation Ceremonies starting from 10th July. It's a gorgeous spot for the event.

I went to our local Film Theatre at Staffordshire University this evening to see the last film of the season - The Red Turtle. It was beautiful. An animated fantasy about a shipwrecked man meeting a red turtle. There is no dialogue.
