Back to the quiet life
Ahhhhh... and relax...
Back to the quiet country life. Two trips to London in one week for me, husband up in London as well, dissertation hell, packing....
The eldest woke up about 5am and he was quickly into bed with us in the hope he would get some more sleep - it doesn't normally work, but we still try... two and three quarter hours later, we all woke up. How did that happen? It was brilliant! Must all have been very tired indeed. .
Amazlingly, we were all up and out by 9am, and off to our last FUF's. I was doing just fine, until the end when someone was wished well for it being their last time, and of course, someone piped up that it was also my last time. I'd held it together until then - plenty of tears, thankfully I had the youngest in my arms to cuddle. Many, many lovely wishes from people and very fond farewells. Thank you to the Baptist Church for having such a wonderful group.
Back home for packing and a bit of unpacking to get ready for the weekend guests (husbands brother and family). We've warned them of the impending chaos... The boys helped by playing with (and trying to eat) the gravel outside.
Still on a bit of a high from my London trips
