Marchmont Gallery
Continuing our adventure, four days and thousands of miles away from my Chattanooga backyard,,, ,,,wandering the cold, wet streets of Edinburgh and wonderfully content.
Walking past Edinburgh's Marchmont Gallery, struck by the image displayed in the window, a Scottish home in the countryside, and how much the piece reminds me of the work of my friend and former university colleague, Alan White--the subject matter more than the technique, the stark emotion in the composition, the sense of time in the contrasts between light and dark.
