Flower Friday

Thanks to BikerBear for continuing to host.
Cannot provide a name but it has lance type leaves.
Dental visits finished for six months having had 3 large extractions I need to heal.
We have been watching events on local pond. Only one egg hatched from originally six and the only survivor is a poor neglected thing, completely ignored by female and the male has kept a discreet distance. Today the nest has been left but we have doubts on baby surviving, it doesn't appear to be any bigger after 10 days.
