Belhaven Summer

Happy Birthday Cathie!!

Here's my big sister wearing one of her summer pullovers, home knitted I'm sure, on one of our Belhaven summer holidays. She's sitting outside our caravan (OK, hut) which was one of the flashier ones, not being a converted bus or train carriage. A couple of hundred yards to the beach, about a mile to the sea when the tide was out. Happy days!!
The caravan park is still there and amazingly so is the bridge over the river and which is still needed when the tide comes in.
