Goodbye June......
It was never going to be easy to choose a blip today........
The horizon was a glow of fire surrounded by thick grey cloud and a dark sea as we ambled onto the beach. A gentle stir as the wind caught the tops of waves as they rolled in upon an incoming tide as stones rumbled beneath. A few birds cruised by but it was noted how few there were on this chilling winter's morn.
A changing sky became golden and then to fiery red, dazzling the eyes with her vibrant shades, reflecting on the ripples of the sea, the sun was in a hurry as she moved through her phases. She ended with a softness as fog caught the hills of Christchurch, we were then living under grey cloud for the rest of the day, it was goodbye to June.
Thoroughly enjoyed having fellow blipper mpp26 by my side this morning, thanks M for coming out, not sure where the terns were today! :)
Enjoy the weekend everyone :)
A couple of extras as she moved through her phases, all within half an hour.
