Favorite Crepe Myrtle Color

Crepe Myrtles seem to be blooming in a variety of colors these days.  My favorite Crepe Myrtle color is one in the middle of the back yard in a planting bed.  I decided to use a color splash option to accent the beauty of this crimson one.
Sorry for the limited postings lately, but days like yesterday (left home at 7:15 am and returned after 10 pm), and today when we attended a memorial service for a church friend, and then I spent the rest of the day and most the evening supervising workers in the house who are repairing the ceiling and the upstairs from our leaks on May 20th weekend. The last worker left at 7:30 pm, and I worked until 9 pm and then made a quick dinner of leftovers.  As much as I enjoy some of the work myself, it took me a long time today to install molding around the new floor  in the upstairs bathroom where the leak originated.  Thank you for the stars and kind words about some of my recent photos.
