Not abstract Thursday

I had really hoped to find a subject suitable for AT, but came up empty.  However, I spotted these really unusual flowers at Central Market and thought they would make a good blip.  They are yellow Craspedia "Billy Buttons" and they grow one flower ball atop one stem.  Native to Australia and New Zealand, but I suppose the climate here in the northwest can support them too.
