Blipper spotted in Worcester Cathedral
I counted twenty adults out, and twenty back in today. We went from Stroud/Stonehouse in several car loads (which I'd had to organise, blind-date style) to Upton on Severn, where we got on a cruise boat to Worcester. The mooring at Worcester took far longer than it should have, so we ended up with less than an hour and a half to see the Cathedral, the tomb of Bad King John, etc. Then back on the boat to Upton.
Despite the grey weather, and occasional rain, we enjoyed the stillness of the water, and the wildlife. I spent most of my time attempting to be sociable and making sure that everyone was ok, but managed a little time out in the Cathedral (heavenly music as part of a rehearsal that was taking place; and stained glass and roof vaulting to marvel at).
Relieved to be back home! Glad to have caught up
With old friends, and happy that there's just one more of my organised outings to go.
CleanSteve, who you can see here, will have some wildlife shots for today.
