Rainy Day

A few months ago I mentioned going to get some watch stands made for a couple of old pocket watches my Dad gave me, family heirlooms! I don't think they are worth very much but they are both in working order as I had them restored a few years ago by another local craftsman who does jewellery, watch and clock repairs.
The stands are hand turned in black walnut and are just the job!

I was saving blipping them until a rainy day occurred, which it has in two ways. Firstly it's raining , and secondly I feel very under the weather with a hacking cough and a streaming nose, and didn't feel much like going out.
Great! We're having a party at the weekend.
