Thornwick Bay

Nestled near North Landing is a little cove called Thornwick Bay. It has tremendous views, wonderful chalk cliffs, caves and amazing chalk stone formations. At the other side of these cliffs the rock formations are locally known as The Elephants as that's what the cliffs resemble from the sea. I'll have to post a photographs of this some time.

I had the day off, so I took myself up to Thornwick Bay with a flask of coffee and my book for a while. This is the view that I had. Beautifully distracting! Wouldn't you love to live on one of those bungalows on the cliff!

Later on I went to the newly refurbished pub near me. It's called The Lobster Pot and Marstons have made a great job of it. The food was pretty good, and the beer fairly priced. I can see me paying the place a few more visits in the future!
