Late for the party

My cosmos plants have just decided to flower in mid September. I planted them at the right time and everything, they have just sat there for 6 weeks with big buds, and today - one pretty flower. Not that I am complaining, I was very happy to see it as I set forth into the garden with my camera. I was worried it was going to have to blip the "silver platform" as Will calls it. Or the new shed base, waiting for its shed, as everyone else calls it.
