Finally back Bilpping!

Hello again, I've just embarked on my travels to South America. First stop Peru. I landed in Lima on Saturday (01:00 Sun GMT). Stayed the night before flying out first thing to Cusco. I was greeted at the airport by my lovely mother who had been waiting to see me for over 2 months now.

No time to settle however, after a couple of hours of shopping around Cusco markets we got into the car to head to Ollantaytambo a beautiful town situated in the Sacred Valley. Just 10/15 minutes outside Ollanta there is a family that my Mum and her company Lucid Insight are trying to help fund as they have been abused by a drunken landlord and been left by the father/husband. Did I mention this family has 7 children! 7 gorgeous children and a mother living in a house the size of some people bathrooms. They have two single beds which sleeps them all, yet the kids had the biggest smiles on their faces and despite their situation they fed us (6 people) a lovely meal. Their new home is currently being built.

The photo I have chosen is of the youngest daughter. We were eating our soup and once we were full or had finished this precious little girl was getting spoon fed more and more. She loved to dip the bread in the soup. She made a connection with my roommate Rinke a very nice Dutch man. When he decided to play 'here comes the train' she had a slight pout as if she was thinking.. 'What are you doing man? You know where my mouth is put the spoon in my mouth!'.

The moment captured is when we in-fact ran out of soup after she polished the remains of a 3rd bowl.

I will continue to blip throughout my travels through South America, I will be back blipping once I'm out of the Amazon because there is no internet connection. Hope you enjoy this.
