and now we wait....

It's been a busy few days..  It didn't go well for my dad yesterday physically.. Nothing they can do for his back, nothing they can do about Parkinson's with Lewy Bodies, nothing they can do...

So now we comfort him as much as possible, hold his hand, smile, tell him everything will be alright, things are going well at home, and... 

We are still fighting for a proper wheelchair, we are still fighting for better pain medication, we are still fighting the Veterans Administration, we are still fighting to help...   dad

He asked me where he would be next year.. I lost it and had to excuse myself.. I didn't have an answer for him.. except hopefully your back will be well, you will be at the beach with your grandson, and all will be well.. 

I can dream still can't I...
