Frantic Feeder Frolics!

Whenever we fill our bird feeders, the starling clan are always first on the scene. They are such a raucous, squabblesome bunch but are well worth watching. It looks like feeding the chicks is a job for any handy adult, not necessarily the parents. However, our chicks are now starting to feed themselves, (lazy beggars!) and thee whole gang can clear three fat-balls in the course of an afternoon.
Think we need to stop feeding until the winter!
The eyes are still well wonky (baby steps!) and it was great to get a little visit from Euan & Eve with Mum Ali who brought up some delicious cakes and chocolate krispie.
