I knew today would be tricky.
This is the order in which it happened - as if a recipe (for disaster!)

One 8km run
One tearful grieving friend
two spoilt drama queens 
four executive assistants (!)
two bouncy hounds

one frantic drive
one lovely quiche I prepared earlier (the blip)


one quick trolly dash around supermarket
one airport run
one returned husband :) 


two electrical storms 
one of which blew out all our electricity for 48 mins


one delightful catch-up over an aperitif
one dinner disturbed by sad news...


two tired people
