Still Off

It was nearly 9am before The Cygnet woke up and wouldn't believe that his sister was already at school.
He seemed fine but only had 3 spoonfuls of his breakfast and gave up.
However, by the time we left he was definitely back to normal.

My lathe was due to be delivered back today.
However, I wasn't able to get the tracking system to work - or anyone to answer the phone at the carriers.
Apparently they have been it by this new ransom virus.
But I got a card through the door in the afternoon.
There was just the address and the tracking number on it ..... no time, date, or anything (not even the depot address or phone number).
So I left it until getting near the last pick-up time before heading into town -- so that there was time for the van to get back.

Apparently, they can put a parcel onto the van and write the details down so the driver knows where to deliver ...... but they can't go back to the van give it to you because the computer isn't working!!! 
WTF!
So it is not the hackers that are causing the problem - it is the inability of the human to get his arse off his seat and do his job.
With this attitude and level of incompetence it could take months before I get my lathe back.
