Clyde at Kelvingrove

S's parents arrived from the US yesterday. This afternoon I met up with them, their first visit to Glasgow. They had heard it is always raining here, and it was. Dreich.

So, after the compulsory shot beside The Duke, who did have his cone hat on, we had a trip on The Shuggle, to Kelvingrove, and then The Esteemed Institution. Mackintosh gesso panels, the Armoury, the Dali, Floating Heads, and Jacobite glassware were all of interest.

We came across a Graduation reception in the Glasgow University Cloisters, everyone sheltering from the rain. Sorry I didn't spot Dr Mags, who I know was there. Good to see inside the Chapel, before heading down to Ashton Lane.

Dinner together, exactly two years on after sharing the top table at #1 and S's wedding. Congratulations on their 2nd wedding anniversary. Forever grateful to LadyF for her shot of the wedding party on the Royal Mile, Sat 27 June 2015.

I hope the weather improves as they travel to see more of Scotland.
