Grasmere Gingerbread Shop was getting a flour delivery at 7 o'clock this morning. You get an idea of how much gingerbread is made when the flour comes by tanker. 

On the subject of food, I excelled myself later in the morning by making
soup from vegetables that hadn't been used. I admit to spending much less time in the kitchen these days but don't like throwing food out, so I feel better for my efforts and it tasted good ......... and there's more in the freezer.
