Sunset at Ribblehead
I discovered why my return train ticket from Leeds was so much cheaper than the one down, I was on the slow route via Carlisle. This route takes around 2 hours longer than going via York so I was a bit put-out. However, the breathtaking scenery in that part of the country helped make up for the extra time spent on the train. It really is ridiculously beautiful around there, especially with a glorious sunset to look at.
This is actually a little beyond Ribblehead, but who's counting?
In addition, the name Ribblehead appeals to my strange sense of humour, it just makes me smile :)
