Palanga Geocache

We travelled straight from the event yesterday to our final destination in Lithuania: Klaipeda. Our accomodation this time similar to that in Vilnius, an old east bloc style set of flats, that was actually very pleasant once inside. Today we visited the resort of Palanga, Lithuania's beach resort. Gale force winds meant that no one was on the beach, however a large group of kite surfers were having a great time. We walked around the botanical park and had hoped to visit the amber museum, sadly it was closed on a Monday. There were 4 geocaches on our route, and one included this exciting explore around a WW2 two storey bunker. We had to squeeze through a small gap in the wall onto the 2nd floor, and creep about in the dark through damp rooms to find the cache hidden in a pipe. Very spooky
