Carol: Rosie & Mr. Fun

2017 Tuesday -- Looks like a Heart

We walked the beach earlier today than usual and for much longer than we have recently. Even though we were beyond mid-day, the morning fog was flirting with us. The cool, crisp air was refreshing.

The Cayucos beach is seldom a treasure chest for seashells, but a few were scattered today and I thought this one with its coating of sand was quite attractive. During the summer months we find lots more seaweed and in winter, lots more sea glass, than seashells.

We exited the beach exhausted but satisfied. Our three pups were thirsty and tired, so we poured a bowlful of water for them.

We had planned to drive up and down every street just to lookey-lou at plants, porches, and "For Sale" signs. Crazy I know, but I'm always curious about the local real estate, but we needed to get to the grocery store to stock our refrigerator and our pantry. We decided the drive to lookey would happen another day.

This has been a very relaxing and wonderful day.
