Alarming
One of the advantages (or maybe it should be a disadvantage?) of working for yourself and from home, is that if you have been feeling ill you can do a bit of work in that bit of the day when you feel a bit better but wouldn't have bothered if you had to drag yourself to the office.
Which also has the advantage of being a good reason not to be in the company of the grumpy males in the house who are also suffering from the lurgy but who seem to be quite able to argue with each other.
There was a slight problem with trying to get my head round work. In the shape of one of this lovely old fashioned alarm clock the kids got for xmas. They thought this a great idea as it was really loud. However, it also has a really loud tick. SO loud it stops you getting to sleep at all. It has drifted further and further from their room till eventually finding itself a quite corner on my desk in the studio.
So instead of concentrating I spent most of the day looking over my shoulder for crocodiles.
