Asteracia.

Looking to see what accessories are available for the new (second hand) bridge camera, I came across a close-up attachment. Purpose made –so it must be good; the price is good at £74, at least, Panasonic must think it good; but you do need to spend another £29 on an adapter for it (more if you buy a branded version) which is a longish tube designed for attaching a telescope (another £139) to the camera. So that’s the best part of a hundred notes (in old money) for a close-up lens with no technical information.
 
Personally, for this Blip, I opted to use one of a set of four close-up lenses that come with a nice little wallet to protect them, and a proper specification, all for the very good price of £13.99
 
The flower is an unspecified member of the asteracia family given to us by our neighbour who is off to France with her grandchildren; they were, in turn, given to her by said grandchildren – and she’s not even taking them to Disneyland.
