Hover Fly

The day was almost up when I realised I hadn't taken a picture today.  I popped on the flashgun and went into the garden to see if anything was still about but all I could find were a few hover flies on the buddleia.  I liked the metallic gold thorax on this one.  The buddleia is in full bloom but sadly I haven't seen any butterfly interest in it so far this year.
