Another hot sunny day with lots of walking and swimming, we caught the train from Ryde to Shanklin, and then walked around Shanklin (Graham bought a cap), down to beach for a swim. Then climbed up to join the coastal path, such a climb we had a cream tea at the top of the cliff. The walk was great, a lot of up hills, through woods, glimpses of the sea, and then into Ventnor for more swimming, ice creams and fun, before catching the bus back to Shanklin to get the train back to Ryde.
