We Are Sailing
HMS Queen Elizabeth made it out of Rosyth safely.
A matter of centimetres each side as she squeezed out of the non-tidal basin and into the river.
I was standing a few feet away, but no photography is permitted on site. I had to wait until the working day was over and take this from a nearby village.
It will be weird not to see it sitting there this morning, when I arrive at work.
This is a panorama taken from five telephoto shots. Zooming in on the picture, you can see individual people on the flight deck, not sure if blip is the best format for these type of images though.
