Goodbye Tetons, Hello Wind River Reservation

The motel we stayed in last night is nearby to one of the film locations for the 1953 movie "Shane".
The view of the Tetons, in the extra image, immediately brought to mind the backdrop of many scenes in the movie.
Our trip across Wyoming brought us through the Wind River Indian Reservation where I worked with the people of the Shoshone and Arapaho Tribes for 14 years.
Locally famous Crowheart Butte can be seen in the distance through the roadside historical marker.
