Caledonian Canal

Overcast start to our walk along the Caledonian Canal but by mid morning the sun had come out and we had lovely weather.We walked from Neptune's staircase by Fort William to Gairlochy along the Caledonian Canal towpath - then came back. 12 to 14 miles (depending on which guide you read).
Lovely peaceful walk and the canal banks were looking very verdant with lots of lovely wildflowers :-)
