The remains of the day

I went out at about a quarter to five; we'd been at work since 7.30 and I just couldn't concentrate any more. Took a lovely walk in the sun whilst TSM had yet another meeting which went on until 5.30 then we came home.

This is part of the walk along the River Mole. The water levels are incredibly low at the moment; never seen so much of the river bed. But looks lovely where there is still some water.

Sat in the garden with the boys this evening; lovely to have Top Gun home again, he had a great week away touring Britain by train. Bought us some gorgeous chocolate from York.

Evening just vanished after that. Early night after yesterday's excesses and a very busy day in the office today. But my new assistant started this morning and seems really nice. Fingers crossed; we have lots to do...
