Country life

I went off for a cycle first thing this morning, a new route up a very big hill and then onto some country roads. I huffed and puffed, stopping more often than should have been necessary, up the hill and was rewarded at the top with empty country roads and wonderful view of the countryside.

The sky was full of birds, busy looking for seeds and berries. As I cycled past bushes laden with berries, the birds would take flight and a little flock would climb into the sky. They were too quick for me to work out what they were but they had lovely colours. Once I had got my breath back I did enjoy getting a few photos before heading home. At least it was downhill all the way home.
