Balloon

I hope this is still around when you are 18.

That way you will appreciate the effort for the birthday tomorrow.  The  'up balloon'  (as in one that goes up not down) sounded like a reasonable request, and was certainly cheaper than the real present.  

However, I chose one in the shape of a giant 3 on my lunch break, and read 34 cm instead of 34 inches.  I only realised after they inflated it. 

34 cm is probably hideable, but 34ins is pushing it.  Also, safety-wise I'm not sure it would be a good idea with a child on the back of the bike too, so I came all the home with my giant 3.   Probably my most ridiculous journey since the apple tree and wheelbarrow episode. 

That was just one of the lunchtime tasks - nearly 2 hours in total.
