A place in the sun.

I have got into the habit, whilst marking, of getting up early as the early light seems to wake me and marking a few scripts with a cup of tea before having my shower and breakfast.
This morning I started at 6.30 am and had marked 6 before doing so.

We only get sun in the front room in the early part of the day and a couple of times whilst doing this I've noticed Bluebell seeking out this little patch of sun. (She does this all the time in the conservatory at the back.)

Having had her breakfast she settled here for a wash and then went to sleep. She didn't stay very long, I think my taking the photo disturbed her, and of course the patch of sun didn't stay long either.

After breakfast I moved with the sun into the conservatory to enjoy the sun and the garden view. It is as far as I have moved today! Would love to have been out for a walk but I needed to get on after quite a few breaks over the weekend.

The only trouble was the sun was sending me to sleep as well so I returned to the cooler lounge after lunch. Apparently we're not getting any more sun over the next few days so it's good to make the most of it wherever it appears.
