Humour me

Many thanks for all the stars, hearts and encouragement for yesterday's hoverfly.

There are a few disadvantages to having a macro lens, one being backache from standing or squatting in awkward positions for any length of time.  The other is that you are going to get so fed-up with pictures of bugs.  Do I care?  Not a jot.

We took our son and his partner to Raymond Blanc in MK for a leisurely lunch and then came back to watch a bit of tennis.  JJ has now gone off to play in a golf match, so peace reigns.

The "tree lady" from the council has just been round and given us permission to open up the canopy of the lime tree in our garden and also a couple more in the parkland behind.  It should let in more light and keep the trees healthy.

It was either more hoverflies or a ladybird, but as the ladybird wasn't as sharp as I'd like it, it's a tiny hoverfly.
