My favourite little walk

Not very far along the road, and still within the housing estate, there's a wood on the right. A narrow path, partly overgrown, leads into a field with wildflowers and brambles.

I'm trying to do several shorter ventures this week, working on my recovery time. This is the perfect stroll.

It was quite muggy and warm, with rain not too far away. Ringlets, Meadow Browns and Skippers were around when I first got there. I got a blurry Skipper shot, but couldn't get close.

So my blip is of the path in the field that leads back to the tunnel going home.
