Cadaques

Back blip

Arrived safely in Cadaques from Rio de Janeiro via Madrid and Barcelona. It felt very weird to switch in one day from being yesterday on Copacabana Beach (see yesterday's blip, I you like) to this intimate fishing village on the Costa Brava in Spain.

I remember waking up once in Hamburg after travelling on business on the same trip from Barcelona to Athens to the Canary Islands, and then onto Hamburg. It was December and 28C when I left the Canaries and -20 C in Hamburg when I arrived. When my eyes opened I knew exactly where I was , but it took me about three minutes to work out why I was in Hamburg! Now that was disconcerting!
