Sun's Out

And it's been super hot, 30 degrees or more this past week!

I met J and A in Brixton tonight, after a nightmare train journey that took me three hours door to door. Don't ask.

I wasn't sure if it was worth going, but it was nice to have a catch up with the girls. We walked round in a huge circle, sitting at several different pubs before changing our minds and heading off again!

A couple of nice cocktails in two different place and we felt better. 

I was a bit of a clock watcher though, as I arrived later and was determined not to be home super late. A was staying at J's (she's house-sitting for a friend) so she was ok.

A fun night, but one where I wondered if going into London was really worth the effort. But lovely to see my friends, so I shouldn't complain.
