Camping with cousins

We've got me niece and nephew staying for the weekend. Phoebe has been counting down the days.

After waving off my brother and Rachel, the boys went to see the Flying Scotsman as it traveled through Cambridgeshire on its journey from York to London. They had a great spot to view it from and both boys were in their element.

Me and the girls went to the school fete. Pheebs couldn't wait to introduce her cousin to her teacher. The had a go on the bouncy castles and I had a potter around the trade stalls. We met Phoebes friends Oliver and Maddie and whilst the adults were watching the raffle being drawn they all played together on Olivers go-cart.

It's was late when we got home and time for tea. We put Alexander to bed at his normal time and then armed with pop corn we watched films before bed. The boys watched power rangers and the girls watched beauty and the beast.

We set up the tent in the garden for everyone to sleep in tonight. The kiddies were so excited to go camping. We were all shattered though after a long day and luckily (for me) everyone fell asleep quickly in the tent.
