Third year for the Cardboard Boat Race!!

Brody and Sanibel have had a weekend of racing!   Last night, she did a 1 mile in 8:14 (she's 9) and he did a 5k in 20....that was slow for him....but they had a great time.

Today, they raced cardboard boats for the third year in a row, and will find out later today if they won a prize.   We have our fingers crossed that they did, because they were both very fast!!
And best of all, the boats survived to sail another day!

It's been a Gramma and Grampa kind of week-end, since their mom and dad were busy at a "Journey" concert!!   We got to have a sleep-over and attend all the races!
