Snails and Bails

One of my better titles I think. D says it's shocking...
It was the Mr Barber V Linton charity cricket match this afternoon. Despite the forecast, the weather stayed fine. Alf was keeping wicket for The barbers but had to retire early after stopping a couple of fast balls with his knees. He sat with an ice pack on each knee for the rest of the match and the barber's lost.
It was a lovely afternoon, though and the snail racing was an added bonus. 
I took mum and dad to Stanstead and they have just landed in Portugal.
