Following on from yesterday.

I bought this book in the terribly tempting Blackwell's bookshop in the Wellcome. To quote the blurb - the periodic table of the elements "reflects and illuminates the organisation of all matter".  It's fascinating, but I need to revise my homework from time to time. Listening to my favourite  Tom Lehrer song "the Elements" just won't do!

PS Another brilliant place to visit: the Faraday Museum at the Royal Institution where there's an interactive "Elements" test. You have to react by pressing the right button as Tom Lehrer thrashes through "The Elements"!  (Also free to look round. )
